Blue Bottle Coffee in a traditional machiya building, at Rokkaku and Higashinotoin Streets in central Kyoto. The coffee shop took over a 100 year old bicycle shop (the bike shop still occupies the left section of the building); while a new multi-story grocery store is next door. 京都の六角通と東洞院通にあるブルーボトルコーヒー。このコーヒーショップは、100年以上の歴史を持つ自転車店を引き継ぎ（自転車店はまだ建物の左側部分を占めています）、その隣りを新しい多層階の八百屋が取り囲んでいます。新しいものと古いものが共存し、繁栄している、それが京都なのです。
