Jazz Kissa are café/bars dedicated to playing jazz, with thousands of LPs and CDs; and large, high-end sound systems, often vintage McIntosh and JBL components. They are dwindling in number, but hundreds of these kissa are still going strong throughout Japan. Most started in the 60’s and 70’s and still have a vintage vibe from that time.

「ジャズ喫茶」はジャズ専門のカフェ・バーで、何千枚ものLPやCDがあり、大型の高級サウンドシステムにはマッキントッシュやJBLのビンテージコンポーネントがよく使われています。その数は減ってきていますが、日本全国で何百もの喫茶がまだある。多くは60年代から70年代に始まり、今もなお昭和の香りが漂う。
