I originally took a photo of this stone pillar in the bamboo grove, marking a "Historical Cultural Landscape Conservation District" in order to study what it says, but I like the calm atmosphere in this image, a place being preserved by the City of Kyoto.

竹林の中に立つこの標柱は、「歴史的風土特別保存地区」の境界を示している。内容を調べるために撮った写真だったが、京都市によって守られてきたこの場所の静けさが、画像ににじみ出ていると感じている。
