There are several large, well-known, weeping cherry trees in the Kyoto Imperial Palace Park. This is a single branch of the Konoe no Shidarae Zakura, which translates as The Imperial Guards Weeping Cherry Tree. It sits next to a creek with a bridge in the distance. I like how the dark background makes the cherry blossoms stand out.

京都御所公園には、有名なしだれ桜の大木が何本かある。これは「近衛のしだれ桜」です。小川のほとりにあり、遠くに橋がかかっています。背景の水が桜を引き立てているのがいいですね。
