Traditional Japanese restaurant on the Oi River in Arashiyama, given the old school treatment. The lanterns advertise udon, tofu, oden; in other words Japanese comfort Food. Nothing fancy, just a pastorale setting on the river.

Finally ate at this restaurant, and it was as expected: good, simple food and a reasonable price.
