Nagasaki Peace Park

The Peace Statue in Nagasaki's Peace Park, at the epicenter of the second A Bomb blast, August 9, 1945; three days after the first bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. A beautiful statue, and the accompanying museum is fantastic.

As Americans responsible for these atrocities, I think it is important to visit these sites and pay our respects; as I think it's similarly valuable for Japanese to visit Pearl Harbor.

Taken in Nagasaki, Japan
