Today I took the opportunity to go to the top of Kyoto Tower, a garish tower from the 60's that is the highest point in Kyoto.

As a photographer I am more interested in what you can see from that vantage point, and from there you get a great view of the Kiyomizudera temple nestled in the hills, and the rest of the Ninenzaka district.
