Above Nison-in Temple on Mt. Ogura, this is said to have been the site of a villa belonging to Fujiwara no Teika, the poet who compiled the famous anthology ”One Hundred Poems by One Hundred Poets,“ in the 13th century. This peaceful site looks out onto the Kitasaga area of Arashiyama.
