I'm back in Japan now, and I have been doing a 2 week quarantine; staying home except for some early morning walks in my neighborhood.

Hirosawa Ike Pond in the Sagano area of Kyoto, as the rising sun illuminates the clouds; a small shrine juts out into the pond.

Walking through the Sagano farms to get to this location before dawn, I could see a lot of stars in the sky. Almost no lights in the fields, fortunately I've been here many times during the day, so I knew where I was going.

京都の嵯峨野にある広沢池池。昇る太陽が雲を照らしている。 小さな神社が池に突き出ています。

夜明け前に嵯峨野農園を歩いてこの場所にたどり着くと、空にたくさんの星が見えました。 畑にはほとんど明かりがなく、幸い日中何度もここに来ていたので、どこに行くのかわかりました。
