Continuing our tour of Japan train stations, this is the Marunouchi side of Tokyo Station in the rain this evening.
Opened in 1914, damaged by US bombing during WWII, then finally restored to its original state in 2012, the Marunouchi Entrance is a beautiful example of Western-influenced Japanese architecture from the beginning of the 20th Century.
Tokyo Station is the main destination for intercity travel, but other stations in Tokyo have more traffic.
